It’s day 5 after removal, so I got the splint taken off and the stitches removed too
First of all, in my case the silicone had broken through, so there used to be a smell inside my nose, but there’s none of that at all, and my nose really feels light
I was really worried about the shape Honestly, I was shocked and sad because it was so swollen... When I have surgery, my face swells almost like a balloon, so when I had it removed, it swelled a lot, and even now, besides my nose, my chin looks square, my cheeks are puffy, and my eyes are swollen too, so everything looks crowded together
The shape didn’t become upturned or anything, and I had contracture before, but it came down well. The nasal tip and nasal bridge are still as high as they were before the surgery (There’s a lot of swelling, so I do look like I have a bulbous nose) Of course it’ll go down... but part of me hopes it won’t go down
