I got a consultation because I was bothered that my outer eye corners turned upward, making my eyes look like small clam-shaped eyes. I had already been stressed from epicanthoplasty scars before, and I could not take a long vacation, so I said during the consultation that I wanted both non-incisional lateral canthoplasty and lower canthoplasty because recovery is fast. They honestly told me that, due to my eye bone structure, non-incisional lateral canthoplasty would only be possible to a very limited extent. I was satisfied with everything from the consultation to the surgery. However, I emphasized that my eye angles were asymmetrical and that I wanted them matched, but maybe there were limitations, because the asymmetry correction did not turn out well, and for a while there was a hollow under one eye. This got better after some time passed!
