8 years ago, I got my first double eyelid surgery at ㅂㄴㅂㄱ, which had appeared on Let Me In (I don’t remember the director’s name). I had non-incisional in-out double eyelids + ptosis correction, and it lasted for about 2 and a half years before one side came undone,, I called ㅂㄴㅂㄱ, but they said the director had left to open their own clinic and told me to get it done by someone else, so I had the same non-incisional procedure done again. About 5 years have passed since the second surgery, and because real life has been so busy, I lived without paying much attention to it. But recently I lost some weight, and one eye became noticeably small, with the line completely gone ㅇㄴ - ㅂㅊㅎ (Gangnam) At first, I didn’t even know about this community, so I made a reservation after looking at reviews on the ㄱㄴㅇㄴ app. It’s a small clinic with two directors. There was a bit of a wait, but both the consultant and the director were very apologetic, so it was okay. Consultant - Just average. No pressure to book, and they later sent me a separate text too. The price I saw on the app turned out to be for a first revision surgery, so the quote they gave me was almost double, which shocked me This was common across all clinics,. Director - Explained in detail the theory of what the buried suture method is and what its limitations are. They recommended incision if I didn’t want it to come undone, but since at that time I really wanted non-incisional, they said they would try to make it as unlikely to come undone as possible. ㅁㅇㄷㅇ - ㅈㄴ (Gangnam) A somewhat larger clinic. There was almost no wait. Consultant - Here too, the quote jumped up similarly. They said they would give this much of a discount if I signed the same day, then suddenly discounted it a bit more. I’m not sure what the discount criteria were.. Director - Said non-incisional was possible. When I asked if they recommended incision, they said no. The line they marked looked pretty. I should have asked a bunch of questions, but after hearing the quote at the first clinic, I was shocked and lost motivation, so I just had the line marked and only heard that it would be non-incisional + ptosis correction. They recommended an upper canthoplasty, but I really have no intention of getting any canthoplasty.. so I probably won’t do it. ㅈㅇㅌ - ㅇㅎㅎ (Sinsa) A small clinic. There was almost no wait. Consultant - They said the event I applied for only applied to first revision surgeries and that it wouldn’t apply to me. Then after the director consultation, they gave me the highest original price I had heard, and in less than one second said, “You’re going to think about it, right?” It gave me the feeling that since I probably wouldn’t do it anyway, they wanted me to leave quickly.. Actually, I liked this director the most, so I had been considering it, but the consultant didn’t even give me their business card and I was treated coldly Director - Gave a really good consultation. They explained all the parts I was worried about too.. They only recommended non-incisional double eyelid surgery. I think they said non-incisional ptosis correction has no effect? But they said that when I get older, I’ll probably get incision + upper eyelid fat removal, so for now I should do non-incisional. They seemed to pursue a natural-looking line, so I felt they suited me better. ㅌㅇㅅ-ㅇㅈㅁ (Sinsa) A clinic that looked busy. It seems popular.. There was a ton of waiting Consultant - They did seem nice. They contacted me first too, saying they would pay attention to the parts I might be concerned about. Director - Maybe because the consultation fee was 10,000 won, they really examined me very thoroughly. They said if I do non-incisional, it will 100% come undone again, and recommended incision. They seemed confident, saying they perform surgery with almost no scar. If it’s eye revision surgery, I recommend at least getting a consultation with this person. I was recommended incision + upper eyelid fat repositioning + ptosis correction. I thought about doing incision, thinking it would really be my last surgery, but incision still scares me and I want to think about it more.. Later, if I decide to get incision after I’m over my 30s, I think I’d get it from this person! — For now, I put down a deposit with ㅁㅇㄷㅇ ㅈㄴ because their schedule works with what I want, but if anyone has had revision surgery from this person, please let me know..!!
