Questions about nasolabial angle correction surgery and columella projection surgery!!

Since they have to make the nasal tip anyway, they put a support in the columella, and they use that as the basis to lift it a little. If you hold the columella and pull it forward, the philtrum gets pulled along slightly too, right? It’s like that. Some clinics recommend it together with paranasal augmentation, and some clinics say it can be improved while doing the nose, so while going for consultations, ask whether the nasolabial angle can be improved and what method they use~ Also search on YouTube... For reference, having some columella is natural-looking and pretty in terms of shape.

[@안심심] If they’re putting something into the philtrum, they’ll explain it separately under a different name. There are a few clinics that do that kind of surgery. To correct the nasolabial angle, the columella has to be brought out appropriately, and bringing it out properly from the front and side is the technique. The nose shape varies a lot here. (If it’s brought out too much, it becomes a Squidward-like nose from the front. If the side isn’t brought out, the shape can be disappointing or unnatural / if there’s none at all, it becomes what people call a cut-off columella nose.) So it’s important to have a doctor who considers the nasolabial angle and has the technique. Depending on that angle, the difference between a pretty and not-pretty nose becomes big.

[@안심심] Seems like there’s still a lot you don’t know. If you get nose surgery, an implant goes in anyway as they build the support. The difference is whether it’s synthetic or autologous, and for the support they use autologous material. Only the nasal bridge is where you choose between synthetic/autologous. Bringing out the columella is a technique, and you need to go somewhere that brings out that shape well and sets an appropriate angle well. That way, the nasolabial angle also comes out appropriately and prettily while improving.
