I first had double-eyelid surgery about 3 years ago, and when I first got it done, it looked natural. But when I went for a one-month follow-up, they said one side had come undone or something, so I lay back down on the operating table. I was in middle school then, so I didn’t know anything and just went along with itㅜㅜㅜ As a result, I ended up with sausage eyes, and I also got canthoplasty at the same time. From what I can tell now, the lateral canthoplasty seems to have already closed back up, and I don’t know if the epicanthoplasty was overdone... You know those eyes where the line that looks like an epicanthal fold is way too distinct? My eyes have typical, very noticeable epicanthoplasty scarsㅜㅜ The scarring is so darkㅜ And rather than the double eyelid looking natural, maybe because of the scar, anyone can tell at a glance that it’s a surgically made eye, and the front part looks almost like a full out-line because of the scar? You know those kinds of eyes,,, I just lived with eyes like that, and recently I got double-eyelid surgery again. The sausage-eye look improved a lot compared to before, but I still can’t avoid having eyes that look like I had double-eyelid surgery... And it seems like there’s nothing that can be done about the epicanthoplasty scar either,,, ㅜㅜㅜ Then I found out that epicanthoplasty restoration exists, so I’ve been looking around, but it seems like there are a lot of reviews where the front of the eyes becomes rounded and turns into frog-like eyes after restoration,, But I’m also planning to get nose surgery.. so I really have no idea what I should do first... And I think my eyes are kind of difficult, so is there a clinic that does this well without making the eyes frog-like and without making the front too rounded? ㅜㅜ The clinics I’ve looked into so far are Gio, Batang, Mate, and Sison, but all 4 don’t seem to have many reviews.. ㅜ Is it because not many people get this done.. Please tell me, seriously, as if you’re saving someone’s life. If any of these are blacklisted, tell me that too,,
희망바래미 I also looked into restoration because of epicanthoplasty scars, and it really isn’t easy.. Each clinic uses a different method, and I once had a consultation at a place that mainly does restoration. They showed me in Photoshop beforehand whether they would preserve a rounded-pointed look by stitching along the scar line. It was good because they clearly told me what was realistically possible and where the limits were. They said they had seen a lot of severe scarring cases too, so that did make me feel a bit reassured.
중고딘알라서점 I’m going to Mate for a consultation soon, and I’ve already had a consultation at Sison~ Since it’s restoration, they said the eyes may inevitably become a bit smaller, but it seems like they design it so the difference isn’t too noticeable. They seemed to have handled many cases like this, so their expertise was good. But I know restoration itself is a rather difficult surgery, so I’m planning to have consultations at a few more places before deciding.. I also went to one other place for a consultation that day, and I left a review, so you can refer to it. If you’re debating your list, the places you’re looking at now are all places many people go to for restoration, so I think you could consult with them and then decide.
윌키밀키 A few of the places I’m looking at overlap too. I’ve heard there can be overcorrection, spreading, and things like that, but I think it depends on the case ㅠㅠㅠ It’s not easy to decide. I saw some post saying that whether it’s a first eye surgery or a revision, if it turns out well, quite a few people don’t want to share the clinic .....Are they trying to be the only one who succeeds? lol So I’m also searching around and asking here and there lol
