In 2016, my nose was fractured, and I had cosmetic nose surgery at the same time (this was the problem;;;;) My nasal bridge was already on the higher side, and I had a hump. During the first surgery, they shaved the hump and strongly insisted that silicone was absolutely necessary to make it smooth on top (;) + they used septal cartilage and ear cartilage for the nasal tip. I don’t have inflammation or contracture symptoms in my nose, but.. my nasal bridge was already high, and they placed silicone excessively from the glabella, so I became the world’s biggest Avatar. On top of that, maybe the silicone shifted, because when I held the bridge on the left glabella side, I could feel the silicone, and in photos it was obvious the silicone was crooked. So even though there was no inflammation or contracture, whether removal or revision, I wanted the silicone out so, so badly, so I think I started seriously going around for consultations last winter. What I always asked during consultations was whether it would be okay to just take it out.. I think I asked a lot whether the shape would need to be corrected through revision surgery. 1. ㅇㅂㄹ(ㄱㄷㅇ) CT - yes Consultation was in the order of consultant-director-consultant, and among all the clinics I visited, it felt the most premium. It was my first consultation while doing legwork, and that was where I first learned about the condition of my nose. While consulting with the director, I sobbed,, The director said that after a fracture, reduction should be done, and before 6 months you don’t do cosmetic nose surgery for aesthetic purposes, and it shouldn’t be performed either;; They didn’t say it outright, but they seemed to view that hospital very negatively. They said doing them together made even less sense. (But I think almost every hospital I went to for consultation said this,,,,,, I regretted my past self sooooo much..) Anyway.. They said the reduction performed because of the fracture didn’t seem properly done either (first shock), and because the hump had been cut off so freaking much, if only the silicone was removed, the nose would look sunken;; They said the surgery itself would probably be very difficult, and even told me that if there was no inflammation, I might be better off just living with this nose... When I heard that, tears seriously welled up... Anyway, so if I were to do it, they recommended removing the existing silicone and doing revision with custom silicone + ear cartilage, and they were negative about complete removal because of the shape.. The cost was in the low 8 millions,, high 7 millions if writing a review. It was my first consultation, and aside from the consultation内容, when I heard the price, I nearly foamed at the mouth. 2. ㅎㄴㅂ(ㅈㄱㅇ) CT - yes I went for a consultation here too because they were said to be fairly well-known for revisions. It was consultant-director-consultant, but the consultant somehow didn’t feel professional? The director was good, but because of the consultant, my trust actually dropped. I was so scared from the first consultation that I asked whether my nose was really that difficult.. and whether surgery would be dangerous, but they didn’t say anything like that at all. They recommended removing the silicone and using autologous costal cartilage, and for long-nose improvement they suggested raising the columella, and there wasn’t much else. The cost was 8 million.. After that, because of work, I briefly went back to real life and forgot about it.. Recently I made up my mind about surgery and started going around for consultations again. I’ll write the recent consultation rounds again..
