Please take a good look and share some information with me~~~ Day of surgery I was so worry-free that I wondered if I was completely crazy, and I felt lighthearted. But the moment I saw the operating table, I got really nervous. I lay down, but why were they so unable to find a vein? Argh!!! They kept poking here and there with the needle, and I wanted to find it and put it in myself..T^T When they put me under anesthesia, it totally felt like soju had been hooked up to the IV!!! (Sorry for the intense expression.. I can’t find a better one. That’s how awful it felt - the funny thing is, shortly before surgery, it was my friend’s birthday so I had gone to a nightclub.. and under anesthesia, I woke up while counting, one by one, how many times I had gone booking ㅡㅡ;;; Of all things, booking~) But!!!! Everyone, before you get surgery, definitely go to the bathroom. Because.. maybe because I was nervous, I suddenly had to pee so badly.. In the end, they held a bedpan for me and I peed ㅠㅠㅠㅠ (On top of that, my period was just ending >0< It’s completely embarrassing... so even if you have to force it, go to the bathroom ㅠ) While waiting for the doctor, I had a chat with the nurse~ I got semi-permanent lip makeup and then had my nose done. Everyone, please don’t get semi-permanent makeup and then surgery. It’s twice as uncomfortableㅜ After waiting about an hour, I finally had surgery!!! I had an osteotomy and have a hump nose, but they didn’t shave it down or anything. They shaped the nasal tip with cartilage, raised it as much as possible, and to match the protruding part of the nose, they adjusted cartilage along the nasal dorsum,, Wow, the osteotomy was intense. They tapped the bone with a hammer!! My side nasal bones are wide and my nose is a bit broad, so maybe that’s why osteotomy was needed. They did the osteotomy and built it up with septal cartilage. After harvesting the septal cartilage, the nurse and doctor were both amazed, saying the cartilage was really short!! Seriously, what is there to be amazed about ㅠㅠ I was secretly anxious. But they said the cartilage inside was thick. I wondered if my nasal tip had been on the droopy side because my septal cartilage was short..... My anesthesia wore off a little in the middle, so they anesthetized me again. At some point I read in this community that if you can handle a lot of soju, anesthesia doesn’t work well either.. (no scientific basis confirmed lol) Argh, so being good at drinking was a really bad thing in this situation, right? But after everything was finished, the nurse said the feeling was very different from my original nose ㅠㅠ At first she was the nurse I’d been chatting with, but later when I asked how the result was, she held back her words, and that made me anxious too ㅜㅜㅜㅜ After hearing that, I started regretting it. What I’m curious about is,,, can the nose be raised a lot with cartilage too? It seems like they made the support with septal cartilage and used cartilage.. And they said they matched cartilage to the slight protrusion on the nasal dorsum and the groove created by raising the nose.. An older friend I know said it’s better to do exactly what the director says.. If I do it the way I think, I’ll regret it.. So I asked the director to take care of it. That friend had revision surgery several times and praised him highly. So at first I asked so many detailed questions that the doctor was almost telling me not to get surgery. Whether my opinion really wasn’t needed.. or whether my friend was right that a doctor with countless experiences would know the nose that suits me best, I’ll only be able to confirm after seeing the surgical result.. (shiver~) What I’m worried about is.. that it may have become too pointy. I really hate Seo In-young’s nose. They said because my skin is thick, it won’t become pointy, but is that true? I’m so, so anxious, and my eyes are also so swollen that I’m really suffering.. Can cartilage also raise the nose a lot? I’m scared of it being too high.
