It’s been about two and a half weeks since surgery. Since I tend to have a lot of fat around my eyes, I had an incisional double-eyelid procedure and epicanthoplasty. My eyes look far too close together .. I’m so depressed.. At first I thought it was just because I wasn’t used to it, so I deliberately looked in the mirror quite often.. but I think the epicanthoplasty was done too much.. I was anxious, so I looked up a lot of posts and photos about epicanthoplasty online, but I don’t think I’ve seen anyone whose eyes look as severely close-set as mine... I measured the distance between my eyes, and it seems to be about 30 mm.. The epicanthoplasty area is not rounded at all and feels like it has been cut wide open.. It has such a strong feeling of being sharply slit open.. I think the eyelid line turned out well.. and the swelling or redness seems like it will get better with time.. But I feel like the epicanthoplasty won’t get better even with time, so I’m so depressed... I really feel like crying... Even wearing a hat doesn’t really hide the epicanthoplasty... I’m wondering if the surgery went wrong... It’s so hard... Other people seem to worry a lot because of epicanthoplasty scars, but I don’t really have much scarring... yet the expression that I look like an owl seems most fitting... that’s how severely close-set my eyes look.. Please advise me.....
