Male bulbous nose + revision rhinoplasty, 5-month review

It has already been 5 months since I had revision rhinoplasty. My facial jawline was wide and long, which gave me a heavy-looking impression, and I was also not satisfied with the overall harmony from my first nose surgery, so I eventually decided on revision surgery. During my first surgery, I had high silicone placed on the nasal bridge, and only ear cartilage was used for the nasal tip. Over time, the bridge started to show through, and the nasal tip gradually became lower and blunter. So this time, we lowered the silicone on the nasal bridge to create a more natural harmony, and proceeded in a direction that made the nasal tip look more defined and refined. I am now 5 months post-op, and I am really satisfied with the result. As the nasal line has settled naturally, my side profile looks cleaner, and I often hear that my overall facial impression has definitely changed. Recovery was also more stable than I expected, and as the swelling gradually goes down, it is becoming more and more natural. Now, people around me say it hardly looks like I had surgery, and my satisfaction has definitely increased when I take selfies or look in the mirror. My self-esteem is rising along with it. For men considering revision rhinoplasty, I want to say that it is a change worth trying. I had surgery with Dr. Seo Chan-eol at AB Plastic Surgery, and in my case, after the revision surgery, my facial impression definitely looks more balanced and refined, so I am really satisfied.

This review is a surgical review that pursues a natural look.
