This was my first time getting plastic surgery consultations, so I was extremely nervous when I went around to clinics. 1. ㅇㅍㅅㅌ They said only a 9:30 a.m. appointment was available, so I booked that and went. The CT scan took 30 minutes, and going in for the consultation took 30 minutes? I waited a little over an hour. Some man who arrived later than me had his consultation first. I consulted with the manager first and then met the doctor. After looking at my face and after I told him the areas I wanted surgery on, it was almost just the doctor talking by himself the whole time. I think his MBTI is F. He is kind, but at the end, he said that if there was anything I forgot to ask him, I should ask the manager. I think it was because he was busy, but it just felt a bit so-so. Maybe because he is the head director, the price was on the expensive side. The facilities seem really good, and postoperative care seems decent too. 2. ㅅㄱ Besides CT, they also take facial photos from several angles, which was a little embarrassing. The consultation manager had a very high-pitched voice and felt a bit artificial, though she was kind. If this had been the only director consultation I went to, I probably would have been satisfied, but after going to the third place, what I felt was not that they actually looked at me that way, but it felt a little like they were looking roughly? Like casually? He was kind, but since he has done a lot of surgery and a lot of consultations, it felt like, “Just do it like this and this~” When I asked questions, he answered well, but somehow it felt like he only stated the result and didn’t explain the process in between? When I showed two photos, for one he said, “You can just do 2 types~” and for the other he said, “This one needs 3 types.” At the time I didn’t think much of it, but after going to the third place, I could compare. And the consultation manager tends to recommend a deposit? They said it’s 100% refundable, so I paid it and left. 3. ㄴㅈㅎ It was the smallest of the three and looked a bit older. The consultation manager was kind and explained as well as the doctor. She seemed to have a bit of pride in the hospital. (Understandably so.) I was genuinely completely satisfied with the director. His voice was very calm, and he explained things sooo well. He divided each area one by one and explained the surgical methods, and what I should call the ranges where surgery could be done on my face. He pointed them out one by one on my face while explaining, so I really liked it. I originally wasn’t planning to do the anterior chin, but at the previous hospital, when I said they had only told me, “This photo needs 3 types,” here he explained in a lot of detail why that photo would require 3 types, so my concern was completely resolved. I asked all three places the same question about skin sagging too. Two places just said, “You’re still young, so it’s fine~” but here he touched my skin while explaining. My friend also came with me since I was going, without making a separate appointment, to the second and this third hospital. She asked questions she was curious about, and the second place only explained things superficially, while this place explained everything in great detail, so my friend said all her questions were completely resolved, and that she really liked this place and would do it here later if she ever gets it done. Overall review: No. 1 had good facilities, but I couldn’t communicate directly with the director, and the price was too expensive, so it’s out. I’m debating between No. 2 and No. 3. No. 2 has a decent price range, and No. 3 is slightly pricier, but the director was really good. If I had the money, I might have booked No. 3 right away lol But people say you need to go around to many consultations for facial contouring, so I’m wondering whether I should also go to ㅂㄷ, ㅅㄷ, ㅅㅅㅇ, ㄴㅌ, and ㅋㅋ.
