Eye Surgery Reviews

Between TB and OB, where would be better to get surgery... I’m torn...

15 years ago, I had buried-suture double eyelid surgery and upper epicanthoplasty, but maybe my eyelids have sagged... My eyes feel heavy and look tired, and my eye hollows look deeply sunken I’m worried about it, so I’m planning to get surgery So far, I’ve gone to 6 places for consultations Among them, I’m torn between TB and OB, so I’m asking for adviceㅇㅠㅠㅠ TB Director Kim D.H.: Recommended incisional double eyelid surgery + upper eyelid fat repositioning Did he say my double eyelid had almost come undone? I don’t remember exactly He said double eyelids wouldn’t work with the buried-suture method. Under my eyes looks dark and grayish like dark circles, so when I mentioned lower eyelid fat repositioning, he said because my orbital bone protrudes, even if I do lower eyelid fat repositioning, there’s a possibility it could become bumpy. He told me to do lower blepharoplasty when I’m older He recommended upper eyelid fat repositioning and said fat grafting has a low engraftment rate That was the extent of the director’s diagnosis, and since it was almost my first consultation, I was kind of flustered After the director left, I had an additional consultation with the consultant At a previous clinic, I had been told about a sub-brow lift because my eyelids were drooping, so I asked the doctor about it too, but I think he said that wasn’t it.. I had been so nervous, so I additionally asked the consultant whether my eyelids looked very droopy and whether this level of eye hollowing was severe, saying I wasn’t sure and was asking.... But she was unfriendly and said she didn’t know why I was so fixated on a sub-brow lift, but it had nothing to do with eyelid drooping So I couldn’t ask more, felt awkward, and left. Price-wise, there were no review events or anything; it was full price, with a discount only if booking surgery on the same day

OB Director Kim J.Y.: Recommended incisional double eyelid surgery + upper eyelid fat grafting, under-eye fat grafting He said it’s not that the double eyelid had come undone, but that the eyelid had sagged and covered the double eyelid I mentioned an inline or in-out line, and he pinched a line somewhere in between. When I asked what it would be like if it were made thicker, he said my face is generally long, so if the double eyelid gets longer, my face would look even longer He said sunken eye hollows should be treated with fat grafting for a better effect. Since there’s almost no fat above my eyes now, with upper eyelid fat repositioning it may not cover as much as I want. When I asked about lower eyelid fat repositioning, he said these are not eyes that need lower eyelid fat repositioning, but eyes that need grafting He said if he takes fat from below and places it upward, the dark grayish look will disappear. Overall, there isn’t much fat around the eyes, so it needs to be filled he said. That was the extent of the director’s diagnosis, and after that I consulted with the consultant, and she was genuinely so kind That part was better than TB. I hadn’t been able to ask about canthoplasty, so I asked about it, and she said if the front is opened more, the eyes would look too close together, and for the back, my eyes are not small clam-like eyes or upward-slanting eyes, but a puppy-like eye shape, so there probably isn’t any need to open them. When I additionally asked about procedures like thread lifting and so on, she said it would be good to get them, but for now I should do the eyes first and think about the rest gradually. Honestly, I think I was more drawn to OB as a clinic itself. But if upper eyelid fat repositioning could be effective without fat grafting, I also feel like I’d want to go with upper eyelid fat repositioning And TB seems to have more reviews than OB, so I’m torn The process is important, but the result is also important....... I also wonder if the fact that they don’t even do review events means they’re much more skilled, so they don’t need to do them... TB and OB are both places that are good at everything.... Would it be okay no matter where I get it done?? Please give me advice from people who have had surgery at either place Even people who haven’t
