It’s already been 3 months since my surgery, and now I’m so used to it that I almost forget that I had double eyelid surgery! The line has stayed pretty and well maintained just like it was at first, and unlike the early days when I was careful even while washing my face, now it’s fine even if I wash firmly haha I had non-incisional ptosis correction, so I was worried it might come undone if I rubbed my eyes hard, but that isn’t necessarily the case. Maybe because I originally had double eyelids, it feels like they’ve settled in more firmly. Before surgery, I used double eyelid glue every day to make the line, so not having to do that alone has cut my morning prep time by a whole 30 minutes! Every time I removed the double eyelid glue, my upper eyelids would get red and uncomfortable, but now I don’t have to worry about that, so it’s so convenient~ Makeup applies better too, and since my eyelashes show better, my eyes look much more defined. More than anything, I didn’t realize how comfortable it would be to have more strength when opening my eyes. Among various eye surgeries, this was on the simpler side, so it didn’t feel burdensome, and there are no scars and the surgery was done cleanly, so I’m really satisfied.
