First, it seems the biggest advantage is that it is a private clinic and specialized in eye surgery. I wish there were more private, single-specialty clinics like this in Korea.
At first I wanted a semi-out look at a factory-style clinic, but in the end, I really have to praise myself for having surgery at this private clinic with Dr. Guk-dong-bi.
At the first hospital, the surgeon who did my first operation had a cigarette smell on his hands when he came into the OR to design. Keeping basic hygiene is a basic professional courtesy for medical staff, but surprisingly many people lack even that.
People say the doctor’s consultation feels “cool,” but… I felt he was the same inside and out. It felt like seeing myself in the mirror at work. I’m very direct, so we just said exactly what needed to be said. If it was medically impossible or didn’t fit my face, he would clearly and directly say so. He did not waste time with things that wouldn’t work, and he truly considered my condition.
That is natural so other people can get more chances to consult and have surgery. If you want someone who is bright, friendly, and soft-spoken, then go meet a friend.

Even while lying down, he had me open and close several times. There was not even 1% of a sloppy feeling, so I was very satisfied.
Right after surgery, only slight bruising appeared around the double-eyelid line, and on the way home I already felt the swelling was going down. Compared with immediately after surgery, the foreign-body sensation had dropped by about 90%. I still need to monitor progress, but based on the same-day experience, I’m genuinely satisfied.
I had my first surgery when I was 21, and I worried a million times what it meant to have surgery again with age. But after doing it, I can only think I made the right decision a million times.
While in surgery, I asked the doctor, "If the line drops down in 20 years, do I need surgery again?" and he said I could have a lifting procedure, and if he is still alive, he’d do it again.
