I’m not really on the chubby side body-wise, but strangely, my face always looked rounded and undefined. Because I had cheek fat, deep cheek fat, and even a double chin layered together, my facial contours didn’t stand out at all. The surgery was done under sedation anesthesia, and it barely hurt, less than I expected. I was worried about swelling right after surgery, but as I consistently managed it with the compression band as the hospital instructed, it amazingly went down quickly. From around day 3, the swelling noticeably started going down, so it felt fascinating, and my confidence gradually started going up too. The bruising wasn’t severe either, so it didn’t interfere much with daily life, and it went much more smoothly than I had expected. And it didn’t end just because the surgery was over. The hospital carefully provided aftercare too, so I felt even more reassured. If I contacted them because I felt anxious, they replied right away, and they carefully checked things like facial tightness or lumpiness, so I felt really at ease. My jawline is still defined, and there’s none of the sagging or cheek hollowing I had worried about. If anything, it looks firmer than before, and it’s to the point where I don’t even need facial lifting procedures, so I go to the dermatologist less often now What I’m most satisfied with is that even if I gain a little weight, it doesn’t show much on my face. If I need a thread lift as I get older in the future, I’ll get it here again. I already trust them 100%, so there’s no reason to look for another hospital.
