I had incisional double eyelid surgery when I was 16, and my eyes ended up uneven. One side became almost an inner double eyelid, so it bothered me so much ㅠㅠ About 1-2 years later, I went back to the hospital where I had it done, but they said even if I did it again, it would become uneven again, so I didn’t do it. When I was a sophomore in college, at 21, I went along with a friend for a consultation with Director Park Sun-jae at a clinic. Just in case, I asked if he could fix my uneven eyes, and he said no... He said the same thing, that even if I did it, they would become uneven again ㅠㅠ I gave up and just lived with it, then when I was 25, my mom ended up getting a consultation with Dr. Park Sun-jae at that clinic, so I went along too. When I asked just in case, he said I would only need to redo the side with the smaller double eyelid. He said it was probably because the swelling hadn’t fully gone down when I was 21. So I redid only one eye with the non-incisional buried-suture method, and he was honestly incredibly meticulous... He printed out a photo of my eyes and put it up, then checked and redrew the line dozens of times. I’m not completely sure about this, but during surgery, it felt like after suturing something, the line wasn’t clear, so he undid it and sutured it again. I thought, wow, he really performs surgery delicately. He set the line, checked it while I was sitting, checked it while I was lying down, and wanted to see it in all kinds of positions, so I got a bit exhausted, but his passion and delicacy were ㄷㄷ. He really felt trustworthy. Even if I had drawn it myself, I don’t think I could have matched it to the other eye’s line as closely as he did... When I close my eyes, the lines are really identical like a decalcomania lol I don’t particularly love the other eye, but I don’t have the courage or time to redo everything ㅠ My stress has gone way down, and I’m living well. Photo 1 is before, photo 2 is the day of surgery, and photo 3 is 1 year after surgery (now)
