Before getting facial liposuction, my double chin was very visible even from the front. My chin tip was ambiguously pointy but not pointy, and it also felt short, so my face looked wide horizontally and large. I thought the issue was either structure or fat, so I got a CT scan and went for consultations. They said it wasn’t facial contouring surgery I needed, but facial liposuction. They looked at the fat layer in each area, designed how much should be removed and what my face shape would look like after surgery, and I had facial liposuction and thread lifting surgery. The bruising was all gone after about a week, and I think there’s still a little residual swelling, but my chin has come out more and the wide-looking face is gone. My face shape changed a lot before and after surgery, so I think I’m satisfied. I did thread lifting together because they said that if I only did liposuction, the supporting fat would be removed and there would be a high chance of sagging, and I think my cheek area was lifted too.
