Eye Surgery Considerations

Dareum Review

My glabella and nasal bridge are both low, but I was scared of putting in an implant, and I just wanted my blunt nasal tip to look a little sharper, so I had a consultation for implant-free nasal tip surgery. The staff and director were kind, and even though I didn’t ask many questions, they explained the basic parts well, so it was okay even for a first consultation. Before the consultation, I had a CT scan, and Director S J W personally touched my nose and consulted with me while looking at the CT images. I also thought I probably had little cartilage, and when looking at the CT, they said my septal cartilage seemed a bit limited and my ear cartilage was also on the smaller side, but that nasal tip surgery was still possible with septal cartilage + ear cartilage. Since they didn’t mention costal cartilage at all, I guess it must be sufficiently possible. Maybe it’s possible because although my nose is low, I said I don’t have much desire to make it high. Anyway, they said they would raise the nasal tip without making my nose look upturned, and that since my cartilage is small, cartilage tying would not be effective (I think so too). While looking at the CT, they also said I had no rhinitis, it was clean, the septum wasn’t deviated, and that it was very healthy Still, since my nasal bridge is low, they recommended putting in even a thin silicone of about 2 mm, but said that if I really don’t want an implant, they won’t force it and that nasal tip only is possible. For me, the consultation was good because they also gave recommendations based on their own aesthetic sense to some degree. I felt this from YouTube too, but even though he is the director of a private clinic, he really gives off the feeling of a professor who keeps reading papers and studies a lot.. They said there is CCTV and an anesthesiologist is also on site, and since the director is a former clinical instructor at Asan Medical Center, it just felt to me, purely as my own guess, that he would be very by-the-book and follow the basics. In this community, I saw some reviews saying the aftercare here is a bit lacking, but when I had the consultation, I couldn’t really tell.. When wrapping up the nose consultation, I also asked about something other than nose surgery, and they listened well and gave advice like a real doctor, so I felt the impression was good. However, even though it’s nasal tip surgery, the price felt a bit expensive, so for now I’m planning to get consultations elsewhere too.
