<Before><After>Facial contouring surgery is definitely on the more difficult side among cosmetic surgeries, and after surgery there are parts you have to endure yourself while waiting through the recovery period, so after I first decided to have surgery, when I told people close to me, "I'm going to get facial contouring," most of what I heard was just, "Why would you do that?" They often told me things like, "You look fine now," or "Your face is a bit uneven, but it's not seriously strange." But I had already made up my mind, and from my point of view, I don't think it's that great for other people to tell me what to do with my own face, so I just went ahead with facial contouring according to my own conviction. You only live once, and I think I wanted to have the face shape I wanted and live without regrets. After actually having the surgery, people around me said I really made the right choice, and they said I looked much better after surgery, so I was satisfied. Honestly, I had the surgery expecting those kinds of reactions, so it was exactly the response I wanted and I liked it.. lol But 3-type facial contouring really... does not have mild pain, and it felt exactly like barely surviving, so I don't think I can casually recommend it to people around me.. lol I don't know about other areas, but for me, the cheekbones hurt the most. For about 3 days, the pain was mainly around my cheekbones, and after that it gradually eased. My jaw area actually didn't hurt that much, and I wondered if it was just me, but some people here who had cheekbone surgery seemed to have experienced something similar? I guess pain really does vary by person. At first I couldn't eat well, so I kept losing weight and the first digit of my weight changed, but from week 3 I really wanted to eat white rice, so I soaked rice in hot soup and ate it. Even that felt like something to be grateful for.. But then I gained the weight back haha For reference, it's been half a year since my surgery. I had heard that swelling from facial contouring can last a year, so I was worried, but I wonder if this is just residual swelling? Even so, I think this is good enough, so I'm just living with peace of mind.. In the end, I'm very satisfied, so I think I can live without any particular discomfort and almost forget about it.
