Has it been 2 weeks since my surgery now.. haha I had 4 mm placed on the nasal bridge, and for the nasal tip I used autologous costal cartilage, while also getting bulbous nose correction and hump nose correction!! Before surgery, my nose shape was… from the front, it was upturned enough that my nostrils showed, it was low, and I also had a slight hump, so it really was not pretty So I was stressed every time I took photos and eventually decided to get rhinoplasty.. I had it done by Director Choo at D-Day, and during the first consultation, after looking at my nose condition, the director said it was not simply about increasing the height, but that the overall harmony starting from the front view needed to be balanced.. So he said we should avoid just making it unconditionally high and instead create a natural but defined line that suits my current face! He especially said the bulbous nose should definitely be corrected for the result to last, and for the nasal tip material, after thinking about it, I wanted it to be firmly supported from the beginning, so I had been considering autologous costal cartilage! These days autologous costal cartilage is used a lot even for primary rhinoplasty and the reviews were good, so I asked whether it would be possible for me too, and the director said it was definitely possible, so I chose it right away haha Since I am still only 2 weeks post-op, there is still some bruising and swelling left, so I really want it all to go down quickly. But when I asked the hospital, they told me it is settling well and not to worry. I felt sorry because I think I kept bothering the consultant for no reason lol, but it was nice that she kindly explained everything.. Still, I already really like the overall feel! The slight hump visible from the side has been smoothed out, and as the nasal tip has lifted, the line connecting to the nasal bridge seems to have been shaped well The nostril wings seen from the front also look much more refined, so now my nostrils no longer look upturned… that is the really moving point For the post-op photos, I took one without makeup and one with full makeup. Since it was my first full makeup after surgery, I felt oddly excited lol Please keep in mind there is a little app effect
