A Momentary Choice May Be Irreversible.…

People who haven’t gone through it won’t know. Across 2 consultations, for 1 hour, there was no explanation at all, and on the day of surgery, while I was on the way to the operating room (walking down the hallway), the director said that if the nose is made higher, (for a male nose) the nostrils/alar base would also be widened appropriately so they look good. After surgery, there were stitched scars about the size of one finger joint on the inside of both nostrils, and as a human being it was truly hard to endure. On top of that, they were stitched so thickly that if someone looks from slightly below (the stitch marks protrude about as thick as a toothpick), they can see them. Because it wasn’t properly explained before surgery, there are other painful issues with the surgical result too, but the scars are so thick (if I lift my head a bit too much, the other person can see those scars). When I consulted about the stitch marks, I was told the scars cannot be removed. It has been about 4 months since the surgery. The doctor was a board-certified plastic surgeon, and I do think he has experience, an academic background, and areas he is good at. However, during the preoperative consultation, he listened so well and was very kind, and made it feel like almost everything discussed would be possible. On the morning of the surgery, he started saying things like the look I wanted might not quite be possible. Taking his experience into account, I paid a very high surgical fee. People who haven’t experienced that psychological pain won’t know. It was such a painful time that a person could look drastically aged even within a month. I came to understand reports about how some celebrity had thought about suicide because of a botched plastic surgery. Compared with that, the plastic surgeon who performed the procedure very confidently laid out his own claims. Here is my conclusion. Plastic surgery is something that, once done, cannot be reversed. Please be extremely, extremely cautious about plastic surgery. A momentary choice can affect your entire life. I think there are probably many people who trust only their own choices and judgment and do not listen much to what others say. There is nothing to lose by thinking twice or three times. Make your judgment with caution, more caution, and yet more caution. I hope comments are made with mutual respect as well..
