First of all, this would be my first surgery, and I was told I do have some nasal bridge. But from the front, my nose looks big and spread out, so I needed improvement for a wide nose and bulbous nose. Also, I want a frontal-view effect. I don’t care about the height of the side profile. ㄴㅇㄷ - They said my septal cartilage is on the small side, so they suggested using autologous costal cartilage. - 2 mm silicone - They said they would shave the bone, but go in a direction without osteotomy. - They did not recommend alar reduction. They said if the nose is raised enough, the nostrils/alar base will look smaller. ㅂㅌㅇ - They said I have enough septal cartilage, so they suggested using septal cartilage and ear cartilage. - They suggested matching the step-off with autologous cartilage without an implant. - Osteotomy - Alar reduction For now, if anyone here has done it at ㄴㅇㄷ or ㅂㅌㅇ, please let me know in the comments ㄴㅇㄷ: Uses autologous costal cartilage, so no absorption X Uses silicone, so the nasal bridge goes up slightly The frontal-view effect will be definite But They said autologous costal cartilage leaves a scar and hurts a bit Silicone side effects ㅂㅌㅇ advantages: They pursue a natural look Since they don’t put in silicone, it’s safer in terms of side effects But They would shave the hump and match the step-off with cartilage, but septal cartilage is weak, so I’m a little worried..? My nasal bridge isn’t that high, so I also feel like there may not be much improvement effect... Both have such clear pros and cons Please give me some advice!!
푸루푸룻 In terms of improvement effect, ㄴㅇㄷ does look more definite. But silicone.. I’m trying not to use it. I do think No. 1 would give more frontal improvement.
오로라랄 It’s not that touching the septal cartilage too much necessarily makes it collapse, but I’m also really worried I booked a consultation at ㅂㅌㅇ.

I finally shaved down that sick-and-tired-of-it nasal hump. It’s been about two weeks since my nose surgery? Not quite, but maybe because it was done without an implant, the swelling seems to be going down really fast, so I’m happy with it
