Eye Surgery Reviews

Review of a revision non-incisional eye-correction surgery in 2025 after double-eyelid suture surgery in 2006!…

Reason for writing the review: everyone was worried because there were no same-day photos.. So I’m writing this because I thought I’d post the same-day look!!! First of all, there was really no swelling after the surgery!! The reason one eye was swollen is that the eye opening was small, so they had to pull more and there was some bleeding, apparently. But even so, this is super nice!!! (The bruised eye was originally very small, and because it lacked strength to open, it was so severe that when I filmed videos I was almost keeping that eye closed; it’s a shame it didn’t show up in the photos) Even the bruising looked like I had put on triangle-zone shadow, so there was really not even a hint of obviousness..!! After the surgery, I kind of wished I had asked for something more glamorous;;; human desires are funny It is a little asymmetrical, but I guess I’ll have to see once the swelling goes down! At first I went to Code Plastic Surgery because I saw the before-and-after photos for noses there and thought, wow, I’m suddenly tempted, so I booked a consultation at Code. Because it was far to get there,,, I made a last-minute appointment at another clinic thinking I might as well check one more plastic surgery clinic on the way (Actually, I knew my nose was very high and there wasn’t really anything to fix, but I suddenly got the urge and just went to get an estimate) As expected, Code... didn’t really have much to change. At most, maybe smoothing the bridge? But it was 500.... I held onto my shock and went to The Way. For me, my midface is long and my face is lean, my eyes aren’t small, but the outer corners tilt upward, my nose is very high and long, and my lips are also very large and thick. I’m the type people everywhere say is difficult to operate on, so don’t waste money for no reason, so I’ve just been living with only small procedures (lifting, Botox, filler). When they asked me at The Way what my concern was, I said, "a face with a long midface" Then while looking over me from different angles, they recommended a bunch of things!!! To compensate for the long face, they suggested full-face fat grafting, for the lack of strength in opening the eyes, they suggested eye-correction surgery, to draw attention to the eyes, lower canthoplasty, and to slightly correct the upward-tilted eyes, lateral canthoplasty. I came in without thinking about much and said my concern was swelling, so they told me non-incisional would be enough, and the estimate was.. surprisingly reasonable! In the end [Full-face fat grafting + non-incisional eye-correction surgery + non-incisional lateral canthoplasty + non-incisional lower canthoplasty] Including tax, the total was 3.7 million won, plus a 150,000-won service injection to dissolve the existing forehead filler... isn’t that an emotional price? I just swiped my card for 5 months interest-free... The surgery was even scheduled for just a few days later!!! And on the way home I found this site while looking up reviews;; There were so many reviews saying The Way is good at non-incisional eye surgery that I was honestly really looking forward to it! And then on 8/12 at 10:00 AM, surgery go go!!! was done I’m writing this now at 8/12 7:30 PM Wow... the result is satisfying!! (Not extremely satisfying) First, revision non-incisional eye-correction surgery 140 - extremely, very, really satisfying (the eyes definitely open better) non-incisional lateral canthoplasty 39 - extremely, very, really satisfying (I had thought I had strabismus my whole life and went to the eye clinic a lot.. but it turns out the eye opening was small, so my eyeballs looked like I had strabismus;;; now I can see all the way to the end of my field of vision) non-incisional lower canthoplasty 39 - honestly, I’m not sure.. I really don’t know what changed... It must have changed, right? The right eye (the one without bruising) was said from before surgery to be very upturned, but even after surgery I honestly still can’t tell. I think I’ll have to ask about it once. filler dissolution 15 - I think this was a waste my previous design was so pretty... I really regret it. I should have left it and put fat on top They said if you don’t dissolve it, it can become lumpy, and since they offered it as a service, I dissolved it, but I think I’ll regret this for a long time full-face fat 119 (first round 59 + anesthesia 20 / second round 20 + anesthesia 20) (if adding living fat later, +30, and anesthesia fee would probably be separate) Fat harvested 65cc / 40cc used in the first round This part.. I really can’t tell (I can’t blame the clinic, and since it’s only the first day I don’t know the survival rate yet, so I plan to record it later) Maybe because they placed it naturally instead of making it puffy, I honestly can’t tell what changed from before It’s upsetting..... Personally I pursue a pretty look, but they made it natural (of course, I didn’t say that) I had experience with fat grafting in my 20s, and back then the trend was to put in so much it felt like it would burst, and I was very satisfied at the time, so I didn’t say much because I thought they would make it pretty on their own, and because there’s a style these days too! But today I realized I’m someone who likes a round face I can’t blame anyone for this part and I’m so, so upset with myself.. I’m seriously considering whether to get a second round, and even pay extra to add more!! The forehead filler I had dissolved was uneven (my forehead with the existing filler was gorgeous, but I dissolved it for nothing that was my choice too) so I decided to go back tomorrow to get the molding adjusted again!! If I say I don’t like it, they seem to give feedback right away, so I’m satisfied The reason I chose this clinic without hesitation was that somehow it didn’t have that flashy, overstyled feel, which I liked. There wasn’t that "spent a ton on interior design, fancy-fancy" vibe, which I really liked..!!! I tend to avoid places like that because I feel like they spend too much on superficial stuff and extra things, but this place was exactly like that. It felt plain and down-to-earth. The staff seemed plain and down-to-earth too. The faces there weren’t overly intense either. Overall it wasn’t overly friendly either, just felt like regular people, which I liked. (My perspective might be unusual) Whenever I go anywhere, I tend to feel uncomfortable with things that are too commercial or, on the contrary, overly human, but here I really felt like the people were working, and I liked that!!!! I think work runs better when there’s a proper work-like atmosphere to everything, so this clinic appealed to me!! And there were so many foreigners coming for plastic surgery!!! Every time I went, there were often conversations with patients in foreign languages It felt like..K-plastic-surgery? I really liked that part too!!!! Ah, and if you look at the reviews here, some said the manager forces you to pay a reservation deposit, but um.... I said, can’t I just pay the full amount here on the spot?? and;;;; they told me to just leave with only the reservation deposit. They only processed the contract deposit, so I didn’t think much about it. So I don’t really have anything to say about that part. Oh!! And I was worried that crust in my eyes and blood pouring out on the day itself would make it hard to see in front of me, but I can see really well.. Only, if I gag while brushing my teeth, blood leaks out;;;; Other than that, there’s nothing particularly wrong!! That’s it for now!! Next time I’ll come back with updates on the full-face fat grafting and the lateral/lower canthoplasty.
