Under-eye fat grafting review

I was worried about my dark circles, so while looking into different things, I found out that the area under my eyes was a bit hollow. It wasn’t as severe as the “before” photos you usually see in under-eye fat repositioning reviews. It wasn’t bumpy or uneven; the under-eye area was just slightly sunken, so they said I needed fat grafting, not fat repositioning. I had a consultation at a clinic my friend recommended and booked right away. They told me absolutely not to exercise or diet because of fat engraftment, and I think that was the hardest part. They harvested fat from one thigh, and I bruised a lot. For a while, the liposuction area felt somewhat hard, like there was a foreign-body sensation, but it’s gone now. After about a week, the bruising faded, and I really felt like my face looked a bit younger. The harvested fat can be refrigerated for 3 months, so they said a retouch is possible during that period, but because of personal circumstances, I couldn’t go for the retouch.  Maybe because of that, one side feels very slightly hollow again... but since fat definitely went in, even though I’m normally the type whose face doesn’t swell easily, after the fat grafting, my under-eye area swells a little. They said that if I go after more than 3 months but within 1 year, I can pay an additional partial fee and have fat harvested again for the procedure, so I’m planning to go for the retouch as late as possible.  My dark circles are due to pigmentation, so my original concern wasn’t solved, but since the hollow under-eye area got filled in a bit, I look a little younger than before, so I’m satisfied!

This review is for a surgery review pursuing a natural look.
