In my late 20s, while changing jobs, I thought about it and got LASEK surgery. Right after, it was briefly hard because I had to lie in a dark place for a few days and walk around wearing sunglasses in broad daylight, but after recovering, I felt like I was living in a different world. Now in year 10, my vision has dropped a little compared to the beginning, but it is still well maintained at 1.0, and aside from dry eyes and glare/halos, I don’t have any particular other discomfort. One of the best things I’ve ever done in my life.
