Since I have a recessed chin, even after orthodontic treatment it still looked a bit protrusive, so I had chin filler twice in the past. I liked my side profile, but over time my face started to feel a bit longer + pointier, so I finally decided to dissolve it. After dissolving it, when I got it done again this time, I requested that I like the feel of my rounded chin, that I absolutely don’t want it to look pointier + longer, and that I only want my side profile improved, with the focus on the front of the chin and a natural look. I think they tried their best to listen. They looked carefully at the axis of my face from different angles, and even though it was filler, I think they performed the procedure meticulously for about 10 minutes? I had only booked 1 cc, but maybe it was a little lacking, because they added a bit more as a complimentary service and shaped it for me. At first I was a bit taken aback that they added more without even asking my opinion, but still, I’d never heard of complimentary filler before, and rather than feeling like they saw customers as money, it felt like they were somewhat perfectionistic? in trying to make it satisfying for both the customer + themselves. The more I thought about that, the more satisfied and kind of touched I felt later! At first I was depressed because it seemed longer, and I was debating whether to go back for molding again, but after a week, maybe it was swelling, because it seems to have become more natural. I think mine turned out okay, but what do you think..??
