I decided to get rhinoplasty because my nose was low and I had a hump! I had a consultation with Director Kim Tae-seop at The Door, and decided to have surgery aiming for the straight-to-slightly-curved line I wanted, in a naturally glamorous direction. Donated costal cartilage was used for the nasal tip, and silicone was used for the nasal bridge. I had surgery at the end of July, and now that I’m 3 weeks post-op, a lot of the swelling has gone down, and I’m satisfied with the nasal line, shape, and nasolabial angle. My friends only compliment me, saying it turned out beautifully. They said it looks much better than before and that my overall impression has changed too. Before surgery, I felt reluctant to take side-profile photos, but now that concern is gone!
