It’s been about 20 days since my double eyelid revision surgery, and one stitch-like spot at the outer end of one eye is sticking out like a pimple. I was satisfied because I thought the surgery went well and was just waiting for the swelling to go down, but I got so startled that I called them. They said it was a thread lump and told me to just wait, so I’m really anxious. The thread hasn’t actually come out through the skin yet, but if I touch it or it brushes against something when I wash my face, it stings. If it needs to be removed, I want to remove it quickly. What should I do?

잊지말자닉네임 [@나무24] I don’t know that much When I was worried because of swelling, she said that in her case it even made a snapping feeling and the stitches also stuck out, but I think it probably wasn’t actually sticking all the way out and was more like raised up the way yours is. Is there nothing on YouTube or any info??

Honestly, I’m still okay with the part that’s sticking out because it might go back in over time, but I’m worried it might start sticking out more and more,, More than anything, if I lightly touch it with my hand, only that spot feels prickly and stings
잊지말자닉네임 I don’t think it’ll get so bad that it sticks out more. Once it adheres, wouldn’t it be okay? Let’s wait just three days!!

냥뇽 That happened to me too, both with my first surgery and my revision, but skin type also makes a difference. Mine didn’t hurt, so I just left it alone, but it didn’t disappear!! But it was to the point where other people didn’t notice and only I knew?
