I am a woman in the recovery process after removal surgery,, My friend called today and said she was planning nose surgery, and asked me,,,how much it cost,,,which clinic is good,,,how she should have the surgery,,,My first words,,,,, If I knew all that, do you think I’d be in this state,,,,and I told her, that’s not a nose you should operate on, so stop being ridiculous and just live,,,, I told her the things I think I realized after nose surgery,,,if every morning you look in the mirror and feel irritated because of your nose, or you’ve been told in life that your nose is ugly, and you think, I have to either do this or die,,,then really research it thoroughly and get it done properly so you can finish it in one shot without having to do it two or three times and live happily,,,unless it’s that kind of reason, it’s better not to do it,, And don’t look at your nose by itself and decide on surgery,,,overall, your face should have some degree of harmony,, What matters here is that even if it’s only to some degree, it doesn’t mean your nose is ugly,,,,if you’ve ever been told you look pretty even once, that means your current nose suits your face best,,, Then my friend said,,,cosmetic surgery is supposed to be for becoming prettier, so why all the lecturing?,,,,ha ha,,,yes, that’s true,,,cosmetic surgery is for becoming prettier,,,but I told her not to get greedy,,, , When you look in the mirror, never scrutinize your face piece by piece,,,if it looks okay as a whole, then it is absolutely not a face that needs surgery,,, If you look in the mirror and, when viewing your whole face, one area is severely out of balance, then you can operate on that part,,,but if you start picking it apart, there will be nowhere on your face left untouched by a knife,,,and think about your skin,,,, I’m one to talk,,,but you too have no answer, really,,,,I said,,,for women, even skin alone can make them look pretty at first glance,,, Even looking at your skin that is like an active volcano right now,,,how can you still talk about cosmetic surgery?,,,,improve your skin first and lose weight,,, Then your life will change,,,I said,,before, when I held a mirror next to my face and looked at my side profile up close,,,my nose tip looked so low,,and my nose looked humped like a dorsal hump,,,, Now I’ve realized it,,,,when I looked at photos taken from far away,,,it was perfectly straight after all,,,,there is some curvature, though,,, Actually, I’m sure I had seen photos like that before too, but back then,,, I thought, it just happened to come out well sometimes; my nose is humped,,,what an idiot I was,,,,I think that a hundred times a day,, With that money, I could have gone for skin care,,,gone to the gym,,,bought clothes,,,bought cosmetics,,,,bought books,,,,or rather,,,got dimples surgery or something,,,, Even if I had done just that,,,,my life now wouldn’t be like this,,,,on a sunny day, I would have dressed up happily and gone on dates,,,, Today, my boyfriend met his friends, and they all asked about me over the phone, saying they hadn’t seen any sign of his girlfriend lately,,,, After I hung up, I cried my eyes out completely,,,,my boyfriend came over knowing I’d be crying (as obvious as a video), but I still couldn’t calm down,,, My condition is not severe right now,,compared to before, I’m human again,,,it really has improved a lot,,,,but now that it’s at this level,,, the slightly different parts are what upset me so much,,, The scar tissue hasn’t formed a lot, but in that exact area where manga shows a bandage on the tip of the nose, scar tissue formed,,, As I can see it gradually improving,,,there is hope,,,, In six months, it really will be much better,,,please,,,please,,,,and so I live in regret and hope,,,, Seeing my friend reminded me of what I looked like before surgery,,,, I couldn’t hear anyone’s words,,,I only had images of how pretty I’d look after surgery filling my head, and I told my friend,,,if there had been someone like you who actively tried to stop me and clearly explained the reasons, I wouldn’t have had the surgery,,, I said how nice it would have been if there had been someone like that,,,,My friend said she’d think it over, and then asked, should I go to a dermatology clinic then??,,, I told her to go right now,,,right now,,, And please, make your rich body a little less wealthy,,,,don’t just rush into cosmetic surgery,,,what I want to say is, objectively and properly understand the situation first and set priorities first,,,, If you have excess weight,,,please lose it,,,,your face will change too,,,,your features will change as well,,,,and as for your skin, there’s no need to say more,,,, And,,,,harmony is important,,,,when you look in the mirror, never look at things separately,,, Once you get trapped by the temptation of surgery, it’s not easy to look in the mirror like that anymore,,,try hard to start looking at it that way,,, If it’s still severe,,,research it thoroughly, and not just the hospital but also the shape of your nose itself,,,,I’ve posted many times,,,, When my perfectly normal friend says she’s going to have surgery, I think, ah, people still make this kind of mistake a lot,,so I’m posting this,,,, Before hanging up the phone with my friend, I said,,,,I expect that in six months or a year I’ll look much better than I do now,,, That improved and hoped-for appearance is my original nose,,,,the nose I keep waiting for and regretting every day, crying and hoping to see again, is just the face I used to have and never really cared about before,,, Think carefully,,,, If you read this and you’re someone acting out of greed,,,,you don’t need to come into this site anyway, and I hope you go back to the time when you lived happily without thinking about surgery, wondering what clothes would look pretty, what hairstyle to try this time, whether to buy perfume,,, You probably won’t realize how much you’ll miss those ordinary things until later,,,when you’re watching TV and a rerun of an entertainment show comes on,,,ah, my nose was fine when I watched that,,,I want to go back to that time,,,,when you see a movie ticket lying around at home,,,ah, the date is before surgery,,,I want to go back to that time,,,,when my boyfriend says, how much did I buy this for last year? I say,,,I don’t know, I want to go back to that time,,,and when other people say, your face is fine,,,if you read this and still think,,,I’m not being greedy,,,my nose will look pretty with just a small surgery,,,I truly hope it goes well for you, but the chance of that is very low,,,if you weren’t that dissatisfied to begin with, then of course you’d have high expectations,,,(if the nose is very severe, the expectations have no choice but to be relatively lower,,,),,a nose that satisfies those expectations usually doesn’t come out well,,,,no matter how much of a master a doctor is, it’s impossible to create even more harmony in a nose you were born with that already had harmony,,,and once you stop caring much about your nose and then after surgery become even more fixated on your face,,,,you start looking at people and only seeing their noses, and if the nose isn’t pretty, the whole face seems ugly,,,,and even when looking at old photos, to be honest,,,I was someone who used to be satisfied with my face,,, Now,,,even the face that used to look so good and pretty because of the nose, when I only look at the nose, looks ugly,,, Anyway,,,,for the next six months I’m going to endure and wait like crazy,,,,I won’t let my guard down and I’ll keep taking care of it,,, Later on I’ll post an update,,,after removal, I’ll dig through the posts here and wonder how things will eventually turn out,,, Right now it’s so painful, but as time passes,,,doctors all say six months, six months, but does it really get better after more than six months?,,, Even if I search through the posts, there are hardly any,,so I thought a long-term update would be really encouraging, which is why I want to post one later,,,until then,,,I hope everyone who had removal surgery stays strong,,, ,
