Fresh review of full incision + epicanthoplasty!! (on Christmas Eve)

When I opened my eyes this morning, I thought, today is finally the surgery day... I had wanted to do it for years, but I was so young that I couldn’t bring myself to do it.. ㄷㄷㄷ When I was waiting for surgery in the lobby 5 minutes before, and when I got on the operating table, I kept thinking over and over, should I say I can’t do it now and run out.. I went into surgery at 2, and when they drew on my eyelids with ink, I thought, wow, this is real. But since my eyes were closed, I couldn’t tell at all what they were doing.. Finally they anesthetized my right eye, and the doctor said, “It’ll sting a little~” but I didn’t know it was anesthesia and thought they were drawing with ink again, and then the moment they injected the anesthesia... It hurt so much.. Tears really came out on their own They injected about 4 shots, and I gripped both my hands like crazy.. I held on really tight in case I screamed.. In other people’s reviews, they said the nurse unnies held their hands beside them.. but I had none of that at all, sob. I tried not to tense my face as much as possible during anesthesia because I was afraid I’d bruise if I strained, and the doctor said, “Oh my~ you’re tolerating it well? How old are you? Senior in high school?” and I said, “No, first year of high school,” and all the nurses there and the director were surprised;;;; I got praised for enduring it well hehe For about 10 minutes, the doctor went somewhere until the anesthesia fully kicked in, but when I thought about having to get anesthesia on the left side soon, I could only sigh.. I had thoughts like.. why do humans have two eyes, so I have to go through this pain twice! After 10 minutes, the doctor came in and finally the real surgery started, I tried my best not to focus on the surgery. I just kept thinking about other things.. ‘After this surgery, the kids will say, oh my~ **, you got so pretty, right? I’ll probably get a boyfriend soon too.. I just have to endure this~ In a month, I’ll take photos confidently and upload them all I want to my mini homepage.. Just hang in there a little more, fighting!! Younghee (alias)!!! (I also kept thinking about the sushi I was going to eat for dinner later.. things like that) But the snipping sounds and the feeling of my flesh being pulled with thread kept breaking my focus from those imaginings.. I was wondering when the smell of grilled squid would come~ but there were only sizzling sounds and no smell at all;;; Oh right!! Epicanthoplasty!!! Seriously.. epicanthoplasty felt like they were poking the inner corners of my eyes with a needle.. After the surgery on the right side ended and they moved on to the left side, I really could not tolerate the left-side anesthesia at all.. Without realizing it, a sound like “uaah” came out.. Plus, when they anesthetized the left side, they told me not to clasp my hands and to keep them at my sides.. I needed something to grab, but I couldn’t, so I think it hurt even more.. But the doctor wasn’t scary to me, but he was kind of scary to the nurses;; Suddenly he shouted loudly, “I told you to do it sitting down!!!! That’s not something you can do standing up!! It’s a technique you can’t do if your hands shake!!!!!” and I was startled ㄷㄷㄷㄷㄷ Still, to me he kindly said, “Open your eyes~ Yes, now close them~” so that was such a relief ㄷㄷ I don’t know if it was when he was stitching the left side with thread or what he was doing, but I suddenly felt like bruises were forming hard... It hurt so much that I ended up automatically making another “ah!” sound Why did it hurt so much on the left side... The left epicanthoplasty also hurt so much.. I really couldn’t understand people who say eye surgery is nothing!!! I really never want to do anything like revision surgery... After the surgery ended, I lay in the recovery room and used a cold compress, and it hurt so much.. I couldn’t open and close my eyes. It felt like an extremely painful bruise.. But I slept a little on the way home, so the pain got much better at least. I was so hungry that on the way home I stopped by Paris Baguette and paid for bread, and my dad said he needed to get his hair cut, so we stopped by a barbershop too.. I passed by lots of people ㄷㄷ with these eyes.... with these swollen, purple eyes (of course I wore a hat and sunglasses too)..... I’m supposed to get the stitches removed on Tuesday, and I’m really worried about how much it will hurt when they remove them..
