I had surgery last Thursday, and this Thursday I’m going to get the stitches removed. They said they’ll remove the stitches and tape together, and take out the splint 2 weeks later. Is there anything uncomfortable because of the splint inside? Right now I can’t wash because of the stitches and tape, so it feels frustrating, and it’s uncomfortable when I laugh or yawn. Is this because of the splint? Or because of the stitches and tape? Will it get better once the stitches and tape are removed? Oh, and does it hurt when they remove the stitches? Does it hurt when they remove the splint too? I’m getting the stitches removed the day after tomorrow, so I’m worried.
