I went because the review photos were pretty. But after the consultation, I got a reality check and almost gave up on nose surgery altogether... I care a lot about frontal harmony, so I prepared one side-profile photo and a list of questions about the front view, writing down questions that filled almost three notebook pages. I showed only one side photo, and they said it was possible. The moment I brought up the front view, they smiled and said I did not need to bring any front-facing photos at all and should bring only side-profile photos no matter what... They did explain what kind of surgery they would do and how it would proceed, but it did not seem like the kind of professional knowledge I wanted, so I gave it 2 stars... Also, in the middle of the consultation they kept going back and forth to the operating room, maybe to remove sutures, and that made the surgery itself feel scary.
I found a few bad posts when I googled the clinic as a black-list plastic surgery clinic, so I asked the consultation manager how they handle side effects. But instead of a normal answer, they got stern and questioned me like a delinquent, asking where I heard that and what I had seen. Even if they had said, 'Our clinic handles it this way and if something happens we will do our best,' I might or might not have believed them, but the way they spoke made me think, 'Ah, if there really is a problem here, it will be a mess,' so I just left right away...
I gave 4 stars because they had a CT scanner, which is a modern facility, but I still do not understand why they take CT scans. The only thing I heard while looking at the CT image was, 'The septum is thin and deviated, so autologous costal cartilage is recommended.' That was it, so I do not see why it was necessary. It was not even a consultation after the doctor was tired post-op, and this was a consultation taken right after arriving at work at 10 a.m., when they were mentally fresh. I cannot imagine how much more careless it would be if I went when they were tired...
