I had a nose with a bulbous tip, and my first consultation with the director was really great. Unlike other directors who seemed rushed and wanted to move on to the next appointment, I think we talked for almost 40 minutes just in consultation alone And the surgical plan felt like a perfect match for me, so I decided I wanted to have it done here! I think this director is good at extending the columella and refining the nasal tip. When it was time for surgery, they said I could choose between sleep anesthesia and a mix of local + sleep anesthesia, and I chose the mixed one because doing only sleep anesthesia actually felt scarier to me. Since it was all done by one director, there was no worry about a substitute surgeon, but I was still anxious, and I think I made the right choice. If you’re nervous, sleep anesthesia might be a good option too At first my nose was stuffy and very uncomfortable, but now I’m doing well without any discomfort!
