I went to a clinic specializing in noses while looking for a revision rhinoplasty clinic. The coordinator and nurses were kind, and the surgeon said he had only been doing nose surgeries for decades and to trust him. My nose is very small and low, so while consulting with the surgeon he said he would do this and that, but honestly I can’t remember. It was already 6 years ago.. Anyway, the surgery was done under sedation anesthesia and my nose became very pretty. For a full year it was really, really pretty, but after a year side effects appeared. Once the side effects came up, I didn’t want to go back to this clinic, so I went to another hospital to have my nose checked. To raise my low nose, they used very thick silicone, and to keep the tip from collapsing they placed Medpor over the cartilage. Because the silicone was thick, it started to float and the bridge of the nose became crooked. The Medpor was trying to come out through the thin skin. Around then I called Ahn Plastic Surgery and asked them to tell me the consultation records. I asked how the surgery had been done and what implant had been used, but they said they were in the middle of transferring records and couldn’t give them to me right away. After that there was no further contact. In the end I had everything removed at another hospital, and decided to avoid this clinic. This is a clinic focused only on appearance.
