I got so many messages about posterior mandibular angle surgery, so I’m leaving another post like this.. What people are most curious about is whether there really is no frontal-view effect?? Yes... But I can’t say there is absolutely no frontal-view effect.. Since the angle on the side of the face is shaved down, it’s not like there’s none at all. But what you need to think about here is, if you cover just the side angle with your hand, it feels like your face would become extremely slim, right?? It absolutely will not become the oval face we imagine.. Because only the side angle is reduced, and the lower jaw area is not touched... People who do it through the mouth can work on the lower jaw, you know... People say that if too much of that is shaved, it becomes a dog-like jaw.. But with the behind-the-ear approach, they can’t shave any of that, so it doesn’t become oval-shaped; it becomes diamond-shaped.. I also saw the bone pieces after surgery, and they had cut about 3-4 mm.. When I saw what was cut, I thought, didn’t they cut too little.. Even after my stitches were removed, I told the director that I felt there was no frontal-view effect, and he said the frontal effect starts showing from 3 months afterward.. He said if there really was no effect, we could add filler.. For some reason, I felt an inexplicable sense of betrayal too..ㅠㅜ Second, whether it hurts.. and what the scar behind the ear is like.. It absolutely does not hurt.. Even after the anesthesia wore off after surgery, it didn’t hurt, and I ate carefully but well.. After 3 days, I went to work without any problem, and people just thought my face had gained some weight.. Really, in daily life, aside from eating, I didn’t feel much inconvenience.. The scar behind the ear was also fine after the stitches were removed 2 weeks later.. You really don’t need to worry about things like that at all. Third, which hospital I had it at.. Honestly, I’m not someone promoting a hospital, and at first I did send messages to a few people about where I had it done, but the reason I’m writing this post is that my position is not about the hospital I had surgery at, but that the surgical effect doesn’t seem that good, so I don’t think I can say which hospital it was~~ The hospital treated me so kindly, so it also pricks my conscience a bit... Lastly, Those of you living with a square jaw may think how nice it would be if even just the side profile became slimmer.. But after surgery, without realizing it, desires started coming up one by one...^^ It’s not a surgery that costs just a little money either. Ah.. If it was going to be like this, maybe I should have just gone through the hard route and done it through the mouth... I think that too...
