I wrote about the consultation last time, so if anyone is curious, you can check my previous post. I’ll write about the pain, swelling afterward, and symptoms. -Pain It’s the kind of pain everyone would expect, since a syringe is going into your face. They inject Radiesse and spread it out, and it feels a little strange at that moment, but in terms of the total procedure time, it didn’t take that long, so for me it was manageable. -Swelling- There was quite a bit of swelling on the day of the procedure. It felt like the volume was excessive, but now a lot of it has gone down, so it looks just right. I think the initial excessive look was largely due to swelling. They say swelling usually goes down a lot in about a week. -Care- I’m currently keeping DuoDERM on the area where the cannula went in, and they said massage helps prevent nodules or lumping, so I’m massaging it in the morning and evening after washing my face and when applying skincare. Since it’s Day 3, it still looks a bit unfamiliar. They said that after 1–2 weeks, once all the swelling goes down, it may feel like the volume has slightly decreased, and then I’ll slowly feel it filling in, so I’m waiting for the effect haha
