So I went around to consultations for double eyelid surgery.. I had picked out about 7 places from online research, and for now I visited 4 places in one day. After reading my reviews, please give me any advice or anything you know, just say whatever.. Because I finished all the consultations, but I still feel kind of unsure..? Maybe I’m just not perceptive, but they all kind of felt similar? First of all, I’ve lived my whole life with monolids, and I’ve never used double-eyelid glue or tape. I was living fine without thinking I wanted double eyelid surgery? But I went to a dermatologist, and the director said they don’t usually say things like this, but how about trying double eyelid surgery? blah blah, and ever since then, for some reason~ it started bothering me? Objectively, I have monolids, but they’re definitely not big, open-looking eyes. But overall, just harmonious.... I thought..(that’s my own opinion), so I’d been satisfied living like that. Now what bothers me most is that I feel like I open my eyes with my forehead strength? If I try to open my eyes wide, my eyebrows always go up. As someone with monolids, I’ve heard a lot that I look sleepy lol,. and so on. So after thinking and thinking, “I want to try double eyelid surgery~,” I even went around to consultations. I’d like it if my current eye shape could just become an expanded version, but when a double eyelid is made, should I say it looks softer,. I want it to look natural, so I dug through natural adhesion reviews and made a consultation list.. After reading my consultation reviews, please give any advice or additions.. If you know anything about the hospitals or doctors I visited.. if you have reviews, please tell me~! 1) ㅇㅇㅌ - ㅇㅎㅂ Natural adhesion, ptosis correction, epicanthoplasty, posterior lower canthoplasty (optional. Not forced) Price is 2.15 million KRW (excluding posterior canthoplasty) They recommended an in-out line, and I think they suggested opening the inner corners a bit because I have epicanthal folds. They said they would provide AS regardless of the period. Post-op care: no limit on the number of swelling laser sessions. It was my first clinic, so I was super nervous,. but both the consultant and the director were kind! It was the only eye-specialized clinic with a single director. 2) ㅈㅇㅌ - ㄱㅈㅌ Natural adhesion, epicanthoplasty. Recommended an inline. Price is 1.1 million KRW. To say in advance, they were the only one who said I probably wouldn’t need ptosis correction. They said my eye-opening strength is weak, but at present, because I don’t have double eyelids, it strongly feels like I’m opening with my forehead? That’s what they told me. AS free for 1 year, then anesthesia fee up to 3 years. Post-op care: swelling laser. Thinking about it now, I feel like they looked at me the most carefully.. should I say? They mentioned several mm options too.. But I still feel like I want to look into it more. 3) ㄴㅅㅎ- ㄱㅈㅎ Natural adhesion, ptosis correction, epicanthoplasty. Price is 2.13 million KRW. It somehow felt famous, with the strongest sense of experience in the clinic atmosphere? Maybe because I was starting to relax, this was the director I talked to most comfortably,. hmm I’m not sure whether they carefully examined me..? like in other reviews of this clinic. I don’t mean they were careless. The consultant seemed to have a lot of pride in the clinic. And I was looking at the question list I had written on my phone in advance! But the consultant suddenly looked serious and said I couldn’t record, so I explained that wasn’t what I was doing..(Are you normally not allowed to record?) But here, the same-day booking discount was pretty big.. That same day has already passed.. AS free for 3 years. Post-op care: swelling laser, and scar laser/scar injections if needed. After the consultation, they organized the KakaoTalk contents and sent them to me. 4) ㅇㅍ - ㄴㅇㅈ Natural adhesion (in-out), ptosis correction, epicanthoplasty. Price is 1.5 million KRW. I had the least conversation with the director.. lol But they were the only place that took photos from multiple angles before the consultation. But during the consultation, we just talked while looking at only one front-facing photo, so I did wonder why they took photos from multiple angles if that was going to be the case. It seemed like they had just come out after surgery; were they tired.. Did they think I wouldn’t do it there..? They didn’t say much, but I also felt I wouldn’t hear any major answer different from the clinics I’d visited before, so this consultation ended the fastest. But the consultant was the kindest by far! I went after seeing a good consultation review here, so I was slightly disappointed. AS period: free for 1 year. Post-op care: swelling laser. All prices are event prices (excluding ㄴㅅㅎ), and I think I commonly asked whether I have ptosis and whether the space between my eyes is wide. Almost all of them answered similarly about ptosis with a nuance like, “Hmm... a little? Yes, I think there is some.” And for the space between my eyes, most answered similarly, like “Hmm... if I had to say, it’s on the wider side?” Since I have some epicanthal folds, if they make double eyelids, it could look a bit stuffy, so I think epicanthoplasty was commonly recommended. Epicanthoplasty.. I’m worried my eyes might look too close together.. or that scars could remain Based on the reviews, where do you all think you would do it..? Should I go for consultations at the remaining 3 places I researched online too.. Oh, and I heard that when you go to consultations, some places ask you to show photos of the eyes you want, so I prepared hard, but fewer places than expected asked me first to show them..? So I couldn’t show all of them.. lol For reference, if possible, I realistically hope for eyes like, for example, Jun Ji-hyun.. Aoi Yu.. and eyes like Suzy, Rosé, Jennie, and Yoonchae are also my taste, but somehow I feel like then I’d need canthoplasty in every direction.. Uh, but everyone, buried suture and natural adhesion are the same thing, right...? I wrote way too much rambling, didn’t I..
