I'm a man. It has been 3 weeks since I had jaw + cheekbone surgery at a plastic surgery clinic in Gangnam. First of all, my head itself is big.. (59 cm) and my face is also broad and flat. Even people with an average head size look really big if their face is broad and flat.. so how much worse must it be for me? Anyway, it has stressed me out for a long time. Since I'm a man, I had nowhere to get information, and back when I didn't know about any community either, I just visited a few websites, went to one place for a consultation, and immediately scheduled the surgery date. Anyway, after the surgery ended like that.. From what was explained to me, for the cheekbones they only pushed in the lateral cheekbones... and for the jaw, it seems like they only shaved the side jaw. I did not even know something called the 45-degree cheekbone existed. Because I never heard it when they explained it. Since they did not use the expression of grinding/shaving down at all.. I think they only cut the lateral cheekbones and pushed them in. Maybe because my face is very flat and wide, they may have only done the lateral cheekbones because shaving down the 45-degree cheekbones might offset the three-dimensional effect, but anyway, when I look in the mirror at a 45-degree angle, the cheekbones protruding beside my eyes are still the same. It does not really seem to have become more three-dimensional either.. To ask one question with a crude Paint drawing... As you can see in the image file, there is a protruding bone right in front of the ear. Since the area in front of it looks slightly sunken, it does seem like the lateral cheekbone was pushed in, but the problem is that the frontmost part of the lateral cheekbone going toward the anterior cheekbone feels like it protrudes a little again. Is this originally like this? Or is it a part that will reduce over time as it settles, like the hard areas I feel near the jaw? Because of this part, even though the lateral cheekbone went in a bit, it does not look like it went in at all.. ㅜㅜ The jaw area also does not look very different, maybe because they did not shave the chin... This clinic kept saying over and over that unlike other clinics, more than 90% of swelling goes down within 1 month.. and to me too, it feels like almost all the swelling is gone.. I would rather it change dramatically after 2-3 months.. As of now, when the swelling is almost all gone.. I feel sad because it does not look very different ㅜㅜ Out of sadness, I booked jaw Botox at another clinic;; I should get even a little more effect... sigh, I'm just losing a huge amount of money..ㅜㅜ Everyone here, please look into things a lot and make sure to do it at a good place.. I had mine done thinking the place was fairly famous.. but after searching this community, it seems like it is just at the level of a no-name place...
