I’m Trying to Look Into Contracted Nose? Revision Rhinoplasty in Seoul, and It’s So Emotionally Hard...

Hi, I’m looking into revision rhinoplasty.. I had rhinoplasty twice, at different clinics, using a closed approach, 12 years ago and 9 years ago. At first, since it had just been around 10 years, I thought I’d just go get quotes, so I went around plastic surgery clinics in the provincial area where I live. (Recently I’d been feeling a throbbing pulse-like sensation and some spasms in the nasal bridge, but there was no heat, pain, or swelling, so I didn’t even mention it during consultations and thought it was nothing.) The areas I wanted improved during the consultation were: • From the front, the whole nose is crooked from the nasal bridge to the nasal tip • Something like nasal tip cartilage is showing through, creating a step-off • I don’t like the height At clinic 1, they said everything was fine and they could do it. At clinic 2, they suspected contracture. At clinic 3, they said they weren’t sure about a contracted-nose feel, and because my nose is too low, improving the height would be impossible, so they would improve the upturned part of the nose. I just went to get quotes, but I was so shocked that one clinic gave an opinion suspicious for contracture. When I came home and compared it with old photos, I can see that my nose has gone up. And when I asked the clinic where I had my last surgery, they said they used silicone, Medpor, and ear cartilage. My nose was really, really, really low, so I know they used a high one. Everything can have side effects, but hearing that Medpor was used made me seriously go, ha... They said they didn’t use septal cartilage or anything like that, but I guess we won’t know until it’s opened.. My nose was originally so very low that it didn’t become extremely high after surgery either. Even though I didn’t become prettier, I had been living with the mindset of just getting by, but this is such a huge shock Since I’ve always lived in the provinces, I have no information at all about Seoul. While searching things like nasal contracture and revision rhinoplasty, I found out about some clinics. ㄹㅋㅋ and ㄴㅇㄷ are the only two I have for now, but I need to look into many places thoroughly. This really feels so overwhelming If possible, I’m trying to go somewhere that uses autologous costal cartilage Please recommend a clinic you could truly, sincerely recommend for someone else.. If I get through this period, I promise I’ll also be a source of strength for other people.. Thank you for reading this long post..
