After my first nose surgery, as some time passed, my columella gradually started to descend. When I smiled, it looked completely like a drooping arrow-shaped nose, and my nose looked long, so it was really stressful… Especially from the front, my nose line came down long, making my impression look heavy, and I even heard that I looked older, so I felt revision surgery was a must. For the revision surgery, I absolutely wanted to have it done by a director with a lot of experience, so I searched a lot and went to quite a few hospital consultations. I had the surgery with Director Kim Dae-hwa at ㅇㅇㄷ, and when I had the consultation, he said he already had a lot of experience with revision surgery, and that any style I wanted (natural, glamorous, or naturally glamorous) was possible. According to the director, the biggest reason my nose looked long was that the starting point of the nasal bridge was too high… So he said that if we lowered the starting point of the nasal bridge and lifted the descended columella and nasal tip to balance the proportions, a lot of what had been stressing me out would go away. On the day of surgery, he checked the design once again and reassured me that the result would be good, so all my worries just disappeared hehe After surgery, just like during my first surgery, breathing was uncomfortable and there was some swelling until the splint and cotton were removed, but from the first week, the swelling went down noticeably, and by around 2 weeks, I was comfortable enough to go out and hang out with friends! Now, even when I smile, there is no drooping arrow-shaped nose feeling at all, and maybe because the length and line of my nose have been refined, I keep hearing that I look sophisticated. Since my nose became prettier, I take a lot more photos and look in the mirror way more often lol I’m attaching before-and-after photos too~
This is a surgery review pursuing a natural look.
