Please, please take a look

Hello.... I’m a student who just turned twenty, and I had surgery early on with the buried suture method, so now it’s been 43 days.. But.... I’m posting because the swelling isn’t going down well. I thought the swelling had more or less all gone down, but when I met friends they said there was still swelling, so I worked hard on warm compresses. Most of the major swelling is gone.. I went to the clinic for my one-month follow-up, and after the doctor looked at it, they said I seem to be the type whose swelling goes down slowly, and that there is still a lot of minor swelling in my eyes.... They said warm compresses probably won’t have much effect now..... and that minor swelling goes down slowly and gradually, so not to worry... Still, because I wanted it to go down quickly, I went for walks every evening and drank pumpkin juice three times a day without missing it... I’ve been looking in the mirror and thinking, ah, it’s going down little by little, but today I went to meet a friend for the first time in a while, and they said the double eyelid swelling hasn’t gone down much... and that it’s still obvious I got double eyelids..... After that I got so depressed that I’m posting this...... A friend who had incisional eye surgery around almost the same time as me has almost all their swelling gone, but even though I did the buried suture method, mine still hasn’t gone down like this........ I’m going to orientation in February too, and thinking about going looking like this makes me really worried... I’m even thinking about removing the buried sutures.... What should I do?
