I went for consultations for revision double eyelid surgery. Both places recommended double eyelid surgery, epicanthoplasty, and ptosis correction.
Gio Plastic Surgery No consultation fee. But parking beyond 30 minutes is at your own expense. I’m not sure if it’s usually like this, but after consulting with the director, I consulted with the consultant. They were the type to clearly point out exactly what needed to be done, and they also asked what style I wanted. They seemed confident and proud of their work. The consultant’s consultation felt a bit like she was the doctor, explaining everything rapidly. It was hard to find a moment to ask questions. Still, she did explain in detail what it would feel/look like if I had the surgery.
Only Eye No consultation fee. Both the consultant and director were kind. They said I needed this and that. If I asked about other procedures, they answered everything too, but there was no mention of whether they recommended or discouraged them, or of side effects. It felt like, “If you want it, we’ll do it.” Still, maybe because they specialize in eyes, they seemed confident. But the website felt a bit like exaggerated advertising. It gives the impression that they analyze and care for you more precisely, but in reality it doesn’t seem to be quite that much. Since I only had consultations at two places, it’s hard to compare.
I’m planning to get consultations at two more places before deciding.
