I went after being introduced by an acquaintance, and it seems like it’s a clinic that pursues natural results. The doctor said that when you close your eyes, they make it flat so you don’t get a sunken scar, and in fact there are quite a few people who get it loosened and then get it pinched again a few years later. That part was good, but among the 5 places I consulted in January, this was the only one that said I absolutely had to get ptosis correction. But when I looked at other people’s consultation reviews, it seems I’m not the only one they said that to.. At other hospitals they said the correction was already sufficient, or because the distance between the eyes and brows was close, I didn’t need ptosis correction. Please keep that in mind. And they said they wouldn’t do epicanthoplasty reversal. Because I have asymmetry, I need reversal on one side, but they told me to do it somewhere else or not do it at all. The director wasn’t unfriendly exactly, but I could feel they wanted to send me out quickly. Usually the director starts a gentle conversation or explanation first, but here they kept that attitude the whole time, like, 'Do you have any other questions?' Maybe because I went alone without a guardian.. Still, I think I’ll think about the surgery a little more. The doctor was the one who empathized with the fact that I have trouble opening my eyes because of sausage-like swelling.
