Hello I had revision surgery with Gore-Tex, and today is day 6. I had the tape removed yesterday, and I don’t know if it’s because there is still swelling, but it has become much lower than after my first surgery Originally, after my first surgery, it was slightly shifted to the left, so this time I had revision surgery to correct that right away. They didn’t change the implant inside; they used the Gore-Tex that was already in my nose as is and corrected it to align straight. But something suddenly came to mind. I had the revision surgery 4 years later, and Gore-Tex tends to absorb? adhere? over time, so it gets a bit lower, right? But if revision surgery is done again using the Gore-Tex in that lowered state, if it was originally 4 mm and, say, it was absorbed and reduced by 1 mm, does that mean the revision surgery is being done with a 3 mm piece, or because they detached all the adhered parts and moved it sideways, did it return to its original height and get raised by 4 mm? I’m curious. I know I should ask the clinic, but today is Sunday, so I can’t contact them, and I feel like I won’t get an honest answer from the clinic, so I’m asking here I’m not sure if what I’m saying makes sense.
