<This is a photo from when I had my first double eyelid surgery because I was concerned about my uneven eyes, but there was no difference from before surgery..><This is a photo after revision surgery><This is a photo after a second revision surgery>Since middle school, my left eye, which had severe ptosis, had been a complex of mine I vaguely thought I would get surgery as soon as I became an adult, and without properly looking into it, I only had double eyelid surgery. As a result, my eyes turned out exactly the same as before surgery. I lived with those eyes for 4 years and then had revision surgery. I don’t know what kind of greed it was, but I wanted to try a more dramatic look, so I had surgery with a higher line, and my eyes became sausage-like But the ambiguous thing was that when I looked in the mirror, they seemed somewhat okay, but whenever I took photos, the sausage-like look showed up so clearly.. Amid that gap between the mirror and photos, I looked into a second revision surgery again. I went for a consultation at a clinic known for sausage-like eyes and extremely difficult eye cases, and they told me the line was fixed too deeply. They said the only surgical method would be to keep the line as it was and only release the deep fixation. But I don’t know if you can see it in the photo, but the front part of the line on my right eye was a mess, so I felt like I would 100% regret it if I had surgery that way. After receiving that consultation at a clinic famous for extremely difficult eyes, I just gave up on a second revision surgery, and as a result, I ended up living with sausage-like eyes for 8 years But maybe I hadn’t really given up, because I diligently searched through app reviews, mainly focusing on people whose before photos were similar to mine and whose after results matched my style. Maybe because I had lived with sausage-like eyes for so long, the look I wanted was just a natural line that looked like it had always been mine. After searching hard, exactly one director came up. Looking at the review photos, I thought, ah, this is the one. When I had the consultation with the director right before surgery, I remember worrying even as I entered the operating room because I’m not very good at speaking and was afraid I hadn’t conveyed the look I wanted well haha What I remember from the surgical process is that during ptosis correction, the director checked things really, really meticulously. I think I lay down and sat up to take photos about 6 to 7 times repeatedly. Then after the surgery ended, I looked in the mirror, and the line was thinner than my pre-surgery eyes!! As soon as I saw it, I had a gut feeling that I was finally graduating from revision eye surgery haha It’s now almost 6 months, and I think it came out exactly the way I wanted! Honestly, the cost went way over what I had expected, so I did hesitate, but when I think about how much emotional stress I went through for more than 10 years, I don’t regret spending it at all haha
