Surgery method Sedation anesthesia, surgery time about an hour and a half, I couldn't really see what was happening with my eyes, but I felt everything vividlyㅠ Tapping, scraping, pressing, squeezing the nose were the worstㅜㅜ Bridge of nose - During the first surgery, they scraped out and removed about 2.5 mm of silicone. It seems it had moved upward over the 3 years, so even with an open approach it was in a hard-to-scrape position. My nose was also long, so it was hard to remove. If they had gone the wrong way, I would have suffered even more, and it had stuck so tightly that it was thin and hard to peel off. Nasal bridge - The bone from the first surgery had only been shaved, and the hump was in a place many people were afraid to touch, so they said they would only shave it. Bone surgery like osteotomy is a big and risky operation, so if you’re going to have bone surgery, you absolutely have to go to a place with lots of experience! They cut and shaved it, and from the top of the bridge all the way down there was about 2 mm of silicone lifted there. Nasal tip - They removed the ear cartilage used in the first surgery and the scar tissue inside(there was a whole heap of it, I had no idea there was that much scar tissue, I was shocked) Originally they were going to lift the dropped tip with right ear cartilage, but since it was possible to bring it back to the original nose height, they manipulated the internal cartilage and set the dropped tip at about a 95-degree angle. Before surgery, since this was a revision surgery, I had said several times that I hated the foreign-body feeling of silicone or septal cartilage or any implant,, I even pleaded that maybe we didn't need silicone in the bridge, but for someone who had the hump shaved down, they said it needed support and, because of the proportions, they allowed silicone. Columella - Because the first surgery failed, the middle of the columella became thin and the open scar was severe,, To widen the narrowed columella, they put AlloDerm inside the columella to separate and widen the tissue, and when reopening they sutured it without tightening too much(As for the columella, it was the part I worried about most, but most places didn't even mention it, and when I asked they brushed it off, so I had almost given up, but I went ahead with the surgery believing them,,) Off-topic, but,, if I were doing the first surgery! I would have done it naturally and without opening the nose,, some people say they had surgery 20 years ago and still have scars, asking if this kind of surgery still exists, and I also get hit with a wave of anxiety,, why do they all cut so much? It should be pretty for appearance- Septum - One side became enlarged from the septum surgery, so they trimmed the uneven nostrils and made them match I was conscious, so for an hour and a half it felt like I died and came back to life ㅠㅠ If your case is similar to mine, I hope this kind of surgical method helps as reference,,
