A completely honest review I’m writing myself... When I take front-facing photos or tense my chin, my chin fat doesn’t show at all, so people around me say I don’t have any chin fat. But when I lower my head, I get a double chin, and sometimes photos make me look ridiculously like I gained weight, so it stressed me out. Has anyone else had this?? That was exactly me, and I was really stressed about it I had already gained some weight recently, but after seeing photos my friend took of me, my chin fat was honestly shocking, so I decided to get it done.. Since I didn’t have many friends who had liposuction in Busan, I went around for consultations at about 4–5 places. They took a CT scan, and the director seemed to explain things well during the consultation while holding up a mirror, so I decided to get it done here. The other places felt too much like factory-style clinics, so I was debating between two places. Then I found out that the other place I was considering was where my mom had surgery and was left with a scar afterward, so I passed on it.. In the end, I called that evening after the consultation and made a reservation lol. I paid the deposit and scheduled the surgery date right away. The price was really good too. It was so much cheaper compared to other places that when I heard the price, I was like, uh... but in the end it turned out really well lol. As long as the result was good, the price didn’t matter that much to me. But the director I had looked up before going was actually a different person, and I worried a lot because I wondered if there weren’t many reviews. But after getting the consultation, it seemed fine, and there weren’t any negative reviews, so I decided to go ahead with it. But right before going, I don’t know if I got hit wrong by the air conditioner or what, but I started coughing badly from two days before... It was my first surgery too, so before the surgery I worried a lot about something going wrong during surgery, about coughing, and about the result not being noticeable enough... I couldn’t sleep well either. But as you can see from the photos, the surgery was over in an instant, and the fat under my chin is really completely gone Even when I lower my head, I don’t get a double chin!! But I think this is an effect you only get if you definitely do the muscle tying together too lol. I can feel it. I can’t believe this much change happened without dieting.. Right before the surgery, when I went in, it was cold, and while they were preparing, giving me injections, and marking the design on my face, I got so nervous But the nurse? The older staff member treated me so kindly that while I was waiting for the allergy test and stuff, I was really touched, and small talk helped me relax a lot! During the surgery, I remember waking up from the anesthesia and mumbling, “Huh I think my anesthesia wore off..” The surgery ended quickly, and I came home in a daze. On the first day, I had almost no pain, and as the anesthesia wore off, from the next day it hurt like a bruise. There was less pain than I expected, but since I had to wear the compression band all day, my chin hurt occasionally. And maybe because the muscles were tied, it was a bit uncomfortable when eating, so I just ate porridge for about 3 days! Seeing that my friend who got it done elsewhere ate a sandwich right away on the first day, I think this also varies by person. Still, I think it’s better to allow plenty of time. Personally, the pain was worst on day 3, and it was hard to eat or talk because moving my chin was difficult, so I think that was the first time I had a reality check and thought, getting prettier isn’t easy... At one week, I got my stitches removed and had my first aftercare session. I lay down and got a swelling-reduction laser for about 10 minutes. My forehead nerves are on the sensitive side, so the laser was a bit dazzling and hard for me. After that, they did something like rubbing on my chin, and among the bruise mode and swelling care mode, since I bruise easily, they did bruise mode for me. They were so kind that I received it comfortably and came back. And for aftercare, they took care of various things for me. Since I had a lot of bruising, they gave me bruise cream too, and I could feel that they were paying attention to all sorts of details. Since it was my first time having surgery, I had no idea how to manage it. Around day 3, they told me to start putting on acne patches, so I went to the pharmacy and asked, and they just gave me Medifoam... I worry a lot, so I wondered, is this okay too? Isn’t it a different type? and called to ask.. I also called to ask whether I should sleep wearing the compression band. I called several times for small questions, and even though it must have been bothersome, they answered kindly, so I was grateful. Anyway, now it’s been one week, and the bruising around my neck is almost all gone. I can feel the swelling gradually going down too, so I’m looking forward to all the swelling going down after a month. Personally, I was really satisfied, so if you’re worried about a double chin, I recommend doing liposuction and muscle tying together, and I recommend this clinic too!
