It’s lunchtime and I have nothing to do, so I’ll tell you my whole nose-life story ------------------------------------------------------- 2014) Nose surgery + cheekbone surgery Contracture -> silicone removed 2018) 2nd nose surgery, revision As of 2025) 3rd revision surgery at another clinic ------------------------------------------------------- 11 years ago, I had my first nose surgery and cheekbone surgery But my nose got inflamed, contracture developed, and the condition became serious, so I just had the silicone removed After that, the clinic did a revision surgery for me 4 years later During the revision, what they told me was: Because the contracture is too severe, after doing surgery again, another revision will be impossible. This is the last surgery. It probably won’t be possible even if you go to another clinic. Just think that you have to live like this from now on If the doctor says that, I have to believe it, what else could I do? For the 4 years after my nose surgery, I lived with a pig-like nose, developed social anxiety, and even when I went outside, I couldn’t really face people and just walked around staring at the ground I didn’t go to places like the subway or department stores at all If I went somewhere crowded, I would break out in a cold sweat so badly Selfies? I lived wearing a mask every day, so would I take pictures? Even my cheekbones, which I had lived thinking turned out pretty well, started to sag in my cheeks once I entered my 30s.. I spent 11 years thinking, “This life is over…” By chance, I found out about a clinic in Gangnam run by a single director that focuses mainly on noses, and I thought I should at least go for a consultation, so I started a serious consultation with the director Result of the serious consultation: Revision surgery for contractured nose + Ultherapy + double-chin muscle tying + liposuction I immediately made up my mind to go ahead with these. I was already so depressed, so I just thought this was truly my final surgery... No matter where you get nose surgery, please make sure to check carefully whether there are any revision-surgery side effects The reason I did Ultherapy was because it was done around the lower face, and they recommended it because it could improve my sagging cheeks I arrived at the clinic, washed my face, and went into the consultation. They took a CT first and explained while looking at the photos My plan was this: 1. Release the contractured tissue 2. Insert an implant matched to my skin For the nose, we decided to proceed using custom silicone, but they said they would only know whether it could be made low or high after opening up the inside of the nose, so we decided to do Ultherapy together as well, and surgery started right away!! After surgery, the pain was bearable, but the biggest problem was that I really had to pee In the middle, I wanted to go to the bathroom so badly I almost ran out…. ^^.. ⛤⛤⛤⛤⛤Make sure to go to the bathroom before surgery⛤⛤⛤⛤⛤ I had failed with silicone before, and these days they say a lot of people do custom nose surgery Back in my day..^^ Anyway, that’s why I decided on a custom nose procedure To briefly explain custom nose surgery in an easy-to-understand way, in short, it means putting in an implant customized for me It helps correct asymmetry well, and our bones aren’t perfectly straight, right?? So when an implant is inserted, empty spaces can form, and if something like blood pools in those spaces, inflammation can occur… So they make the implant custom-fitted to me and minimize empty spaces as much as possible so inflammation doesn’t develop Apparently, the longer the surgery time, the longer it is exposed to air, which isn’t good They say custom nose surgery shortens the time by about 20 minutes, reducing inflammation and recovery time I feel so relieved now that my face concerns are finally over Now all the swelling has completely gone down, and even from the side, my nose shape is perfect with no lifted-looking parts⛤ I live with the camera on every day now, so my phone storage is full and I even changed my iCloud plan..
