I had surgery on Friday. (This is my first post.) They corrected my hawk nose and said the bones on both sides of my nose were wide.. so I had osteotomy. I did not raise the bridge of my nose. Today is Monday, so it’s day 4, and the cotton packing inside my nose is making me miserable.. it’s hard to breathe, and I couldn’t take much time off, so I went to work wearing a mask, and everyone freaked out.. lol But I haven’t really seen what my nose looks like yet because it’s still wrapped up tight in a cast. I can only see the tip a little, and that seems to be pointing up to the sky because of the swelling. I went to the hospital today, and when the doctor pressed on my nose like he was massaging it, I thought I was going to die... Is that normal? He didn’t really say whether it went well or not.. I just felt that the doctor looked very confident, so I’m just clinging to the hope that it went well. After nose surgery, everyone around me has reacted so differently. Some people are curious, ask if it’s hard, and tell me to endure it if I want to look prettier.. Some people used to say I’d be perfect if I got nose surgery, but when I actually had it done they didn’t even act like they noticed. I feel pretty hurt, especially by the women. Anyway, I have all kinds of mixed feelings, but I hope it turns out well. I don’t even expect a dramatic celebrity-like nose result. I’ll be satisfied if it just nicely covers up my complex. Ah.... I’m nervous... Once the cast is off and it settles a bit, I’ll upload photos.. lol
