I had radiofrequency masseter reduction 10 days ago. One side of my jaw was so swollen that I went back to the hospital several times, and they said inflammation had developed, so I received treatment. But it didn’t get better, so I went back to the hospital yesterday, and they said there had been bleeding inside the masseter muscle, so they drained the blood. After that, the swelling is still the same, but since it didn’t hurt last night, I thought it would get better today. Now there’s no pain, but the muscle has become like I’m holding a big candy in my mouth. And by evening it became even more swollen. I thought this was a procedure with very few side effects, so I had it done, but is this also one of the side effects? I’m so worried that I might have to live like this for the rest of my life. Has anyone had an experience like this?
