Hello. I'm the woman who requested a refund from the hospital last week and had been anxiously waiting only for contact from the Korean Medical Association. It seems like many people are curious, and the situation has changed recently, so I'm leaving this post. On May 3, I went to the hospital and requested a refund, and I waited for a call from the association until May 6, but no call came, so I contacted the association's medical accident mutual aid department myself. They said that on that same day, the association spoke with the doctor. They said that since I did not have inflammation and my nose was not particularly deformed, the association said they could not recognize it as a medical accident. The hospital side said that since things had turned out this way, I should file an application with the Consumer Protection Agency. They said the hospital would prepare the documents required by the Consumer Protection Agency........................... I'm dumbfounded. Yes, it may not be a medical accident, but people who go to plastic surgery clinics get surgery because they want to become even a little, or more than that, better than their current face and live a more confident life than they do now, don't they? But after having plastic surgery, if instead of becoming better than before, your face becomes worse than before (not subjectively, but even objectively), does that mean it is not a medical accident? I did not go to a plastic surgery clinic to cure an illness, did I? The fact that I have to file with the Consumer Protection Agency itself is such a painful thing for a patient whose body and mind are exhausted from an unexpected result.................... It will clearly take a considerable amount of time to receive compensation, and it would also be easy to receive not a single penny in compensation. Anyway, I feel pathetic for having even held onto a small ray of hope.
